Greendale Originals Historic Step On The Bus Tours
Enjoy Greendale's unique and fascinating history firsthand. Our Local Guide will board your coach for a 15 minute driving tour of the historic downtown district and original homes of Greendale. One of only three "Greenbelt Communities" built in the United States in 1938 as part of Franklin Roosevelt's "New Deal."

This charming little shop offers delicious one-of-a-kind gourmet apples, chocolates, fruit and dessert trays along with a nice selection of gift items. Their homemade chocolates are made on-site. Learn some fun and interesting facts about chocolate while sampling different varieties.

Ferch’s Malt Shoppe and Grille
This wonderful nostalgic malt shop offers homemade frozen custard mixed to any flavor on a frozen marble-top slab. Their menu includes specialty burgers, sandwiches and wraps, salads, grilled specialties and the best fries you’ve ever tasted! Betty and Jeff will show you what goes into making a quality frozen custard and how they offer over 1million flavor combinations on their frozen marble-top. Each participant will receive a free sample of flavored custard.

The Shoppe Around the Corner
This shop with panache, has one of a kind home accessories, home decorating ideas, great art, treats and more. Its room designs have been featured in the American Cancer Society’s Christmas House among others, as well as being part of workshops at a local woman’s college. Storeowner Kathy will demonstrate her expertise with candles, bow making, floral arrangements, mantel displays and other seasonal design concepts.

This boutique features unique clothing, handcrafted jewelry, accessories and gifts. Margo will present your group with a fashion show just for your group in the theater at the Reiman Visitor Center. She will also discuss the latest fashion trends, colors, and how to accessorize your wardrobe, and tell your tour members "what's in" and "what's not" for the season ahead.
