Greendale really is a special town, with a unique history.
Even today it would be exciting to hear or read of a new community that is being planned,
one being built in a country venue that will include a shopping center, schools,
parks and an abundance of new homes (572 to be exact).
It's even ore impressive when you learn that this kind of progressive planning
happened back in 1934 when a group of visionaries in the Franklin Roosevelt
Administration gathered to select sites to design and build three "Greenbelt Towns" -
Greendale being one of them.
